# Formula Nova vs Pit Stop GP Live

The clearest difference is ads: Pit Stop GP Live at none against Formula Nova's shown. Pit Stop GP Live also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 5 months) and review sentiment (80% vs 67%). Formula Nova's advantage is rating (3.4 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (21 vs 4). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Formula Nova sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Pit Stop GP Live sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Formula Nova holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Formula Nova has 21 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Formula Nova's written reviews are positive against 80% of Pit Stop GP Live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Formula Nova ships an update every 5 months, Pit Stop GP Live weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
