# Equibase vs OaklawnAnywhere

The clearest difference is rating: OaklawnAnywhere at 4.9 against Equibase's 3.3. OaklawnAnywhere also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). Equibase's advantage is review sentiment (46% vs 38%). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Equibase sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. OaklawnAnywhere asks for nothing beyond the download.

OaklawnAnywhere holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OaklawnAnywhere has 5.1K ratings behind it against 157, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Equibase's written reviews are positive against 38% of OaklawnAnywhere's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Equibase ships an update every 2 months, OaklawnAnywhere every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 26, 2026.
