# Equibase vs QRacing

The clearest difference is rating: QRacing at 4.7 against Equibase's 3.3. QRacing also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). Equibase's advantage is review sentiment (46% vs 17%) and ratings volume (157 vs 3). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Equibase sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. QRacing asks for nothing beyond the download.

QRacing holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Equibase has 157 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 46% of Equibase's written reviews are positive against 17% of QRacing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Equibase ships an update every 2 months, QRacing every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
