# Panic At The Pump vs Tough Man

The clearest difference is rating: Tough Man at 4.7 against Panic At The Pump's 3.4. Tough Man also leads on ratings volume (17K vs 14) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Panic At The Pump's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 5) and ads (none vs shown). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tough Man sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Panic At The Pump asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tough Man holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tough Man has 17K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Panic At The Pump's written reviews are positive against 54% of Tough Man's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
