# Campus Maps vs MustangMaps

The clearest difference is rating: Campus Maps at 4.7 against MustangMaps's 4.0. Campus Maps also leads on ratings volume (2.3K vs 1). MustangMaps's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 3) and review sentiment (100% vs 76%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Campus Maps sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. MustangMaps asks for nothing beyond the download.

Campus Maps holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Campus Maps has 2.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of Campus Maps's written reviews are positive against 100% of MustangMaps's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Campus Maps ships an update fortnightly, MustangMaps every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
