# Formula MAX vs PhysicsMaster Pro

The clearest difference is price: Formula MAX at $0.99 against PhysicsMaster Pro's $99.99. Formula MAX also leads on review sentiment (80% vs 50%) and ratings volume (52 vs 3). PhysicsMaster Pro's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 11 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Formula MAX costs $0.99 and PhysicsMaster Pro $99.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

PhysicsMaster Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Formula MAX has 52 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Formula MAX's written reviews are positive against 50% of PhysicsMaster Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Formula MAX ships an update every 11 months, PhysicsMaster Pro monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
