# Contacts Sync vs Google Cloud

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Contacts Sync at 79% against Google Cloud's 29%. Contacts Sync also leads on rating (4.6 vs 3.4) and ratings volume (15K vs 105). Google Cloud's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Contacts Sync sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Google Cloud asks for nothing beyond the download.

Contacts Sync holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Contacts Sync has 15K ratings behind it against 105, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 79% of Contacts Sync's written reviews are positive against 29% of Google Cloud's.

Contacts Sync ships an update every 5 days, Google Cloud weekly. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
