# Pic Stitch vs Split the Pic

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pic Stitch at 45% against Split the Pic's 6%. Pic Stitch also leads on ratings volume (66K vs 1) and chart position (#132 vs unranked). Split the Pic's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pic Stitch sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Split the Pic sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Split the Pic holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pic Stitch has 66K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Pic Stitch's written reviews are positive against 6% of Split the Pic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Pic Stitch ships an update weekly, Split the Pic every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
