# Enpass Password Manager vs mSecure

The clearest difference is rating: mSecure at 4.8 against Enpass Password Manager's 4.2. mSecure also leads on ratings volume (51K vs 1.3K). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Enpass Password Manager sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per 6 months and mSecure sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

mSecure holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mSecure has 51K ratings behind it against 1.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 68% of Enpass Password Manager's written reviews are positive against 62% of mSecure's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Enpass Password Manager ships an update every 5 weeks, mSecure every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
