# Game Trak vs Distance Tool

The clearest difference is price: Distance Tool at Free against Game Trak's $3.99. Distance Tool also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 26 months) and ratings volume (2.2K vs 1). Game Trak's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 6). On ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Distance Tool is free to download; Game Trak costs $3.99 up front. Distance Tool sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Game Trak asks for nothing beyond the download.

Game Trak holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Distance Tool has 2.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 40% of Game Trak's written reviews are positive against 58% of Distance Tool's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Game Trak ships an update every 26 months, Distance Tool every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
