# The Long Jump vs Jetpack Jump

The clearest difference is rating: Jetpack Jump at 4.5 against The Long Jump's 3.7. Jetpack Jump also leads on ratings volume (85K vs 101). The Long Jump's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 28%) and in-app purchases (none vs 8). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Jetpack Jump sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $5.49 per 7 days. The Long Jump asks for nothing beyond the download.

Jetpack Jump holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Jetpack Jump has 85K ratings behind it against 101, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of The Long Jump's written reviews are positive against 28% of Jetpack Jump's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Long Jump ships an update monthly, Jetpack Jump every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 7, 2026 respectively.
