# Иви vs KION

The clearest difference is monetization model: Иви at free with in-app purchases against KION's subscription. Иви also leads on ratings volume (9.3K vs 611) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). KION's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (42% vs 22%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Иви sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $1.00 per month and KION sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Иви against 4.7 for KION. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Иви has 9.3K ratings behind it against 611, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 22% of Иви's written reviews are positive against 42% of KION's.

Иви ships an update weekly, KION fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
