# Lickety Split vs Animal Card Matching

The clearest difference is rating: Lickety Split at 4.9 against Animal Card Matching's 4.0. Lickety Split also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (28 vs 1). Animal Card Matching's advantage is review sentiment (97% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lickety Split sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per year and Animal Card Matching sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lickety Split holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lickety Split has 28 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of Lickety Split's written reviews are positive against 97% of Animal Card Matching's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lickety Split ships an update every 11 days, Animal Card Matching every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
