# Lickety Split vs Visual Timer Kids

The clearest difference is rating: Lickety Split at 4.8 against Visual Timer Kids's 4.3. Lickety Split also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (27 vs 4). Visual Timer Kids's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 69%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lickety Split sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Visual Timer Kids sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lickety Split holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lickety Split has 27 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Lickety Split's written reviews are positive against 100% of Visual Timer Kids's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Lickety Split ships an update every 11 days, Visual Timer Kids every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
