# Dayforce vs Prophet Mobile

The clearest difference is rating: Dayforce at 4.7 against Prophet Mobile's 3.5. Dayforce also leads on ratings volume (517K vs 4) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months). Prophet Mobile's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 23%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dayforce holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dayforce has 517K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of Dayforce's written reviews are positive against 50% of Prophet Mobile's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dayforce ships an update every 3 weeks, Prophet Mobile every 3 months. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
