# DrinkControl vs Dry Quest

The clearest difference is ratings volume: DrinkControl at 4.4K against Dry Quest's 31. On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DrinkControl sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Dry Quest sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dry Quest holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DrinkControl has 4.4K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 94% of DrinkControl's written reviews are positive against 92% of Dry Quest's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

DrinkControl ships an update every 3 weeks, Dry Quest every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
