# DrinkControl vs Alc AI

The clearest difference is rating: DrinkControl at 4.8 against Alc AI's 4.0. DrinkControl also leads on ratings volume (4.4K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DrinkControl sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Alc AI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DrinkControl holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DrinkControl has 4.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
