# DrinkControl vs Nami

The clearest difference is update cadence: Nami at every 3 days against DrinkControl's every 3 weeks. Nami also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.4). DrinkControl's advantage is ratings volume (4.4K vs 7). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DrinkControl sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Nami sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for DrinkControl against 4.9 for Nami. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DrinkControl has 4.4K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DrinkControl ships an update every 3 weeks, Nami every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
