# DrinkControl vs Commit

The clearest difference is update cadence: Commit at daily against DrinkControl's every 3 weeks. Commit also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. DrinkControl sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Commit sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

DrinkControl ships an update every 3 weeks, Commit daily. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
