# Frogbert vs Perfect Pitch

The clearest difference is price: Perfect Pitch at Free against Frogbert's $0.99. Perfect Pitch also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 19 months). Frogbert's advantage is rating (4.3 vs 3.7) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Perfect Pitch is free to download; Frogbert costs $0.99 up front. Perfect Pitch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Frogbert asks for nothing beyond the download.

Frogbert holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Frogbert has 18 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 93% of Frogbert's written reviews are positive against 100% of Perfect Pitch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Frogbert ships an update every 19 months, Perfect Pitch every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
