# Tri vs mySSC

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tri at 33% against mySSC's 0%. Tri also leads on update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months) and ratings volume (39 vs 3). mySSC's advantage is rating (3.7 vs 3.4) and iOS requirement (14.2 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

mySSC holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tri has 39 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Tri's written reviews are positive against 0% of mySSC's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tri ships an update monthly, mySSC every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
