# uShip vs Courier App

The clearest difference is rating: Courier App at 5.0 against uShip's 4.6. Courier App also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). uShip's advantage is ratings volume (4.8K vs 3). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Courier App holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: uShip has 4.8K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of uShip's written reviews are positive against 33% of Courier App's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

uShip ships an update monthly, Courier App every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
