# uShip vs Motortopia

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Motortopia at 100% against uShip's 35%. uShip's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 21) and ratings volume (4.8K vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Motortopia sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year. uShip asks for nothing beyond the download.

uShip holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: uShip has 4.8K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 35% of uShip's written reviews are positive against 100% of Motortopia's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
