# GCalendar Lite vs MonCalite

The clearest difference is review sentiment: MonCalite at 71% against GCalendar Lite's 10%. MonCalite also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (294 vs 1). GCalendar Lite's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GCalendar Lite sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. MonCalite asks for nothing beyond the download.

GCalendar Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MonCalite has 294 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of GCalendar Lite's written reviews are positive against 71% of MonCalite's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

GCalendar Lite ships an update every 4 months, MonCalite every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
