# NETGEAR Mobile vs MU

The clearest difference is rating: NETGEAR Mobile at 3.6 against MU's 2.4. NETGEAR Mobile also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

NETGEAR Mobile holds the better App Store score, 3.6 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NETGEAR Mobile has 1.8K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of NETGEAR Mobile's written reviews are positive against 40% of MU's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
