# 天气通 vs 河川カメラ

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 天气通 at 89% against 河川カメラ's 24%. 天气通 also leads on ratings volume (548 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). 河川カメラ's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 天气通 sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and 河川カメラ sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

河川カメラ holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 天气通 has 548 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 89% of 天气通's written reviews are positive against 24% of 河川カメラ's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

天气通 ships an update every 3 weeks, 河川カメラ every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
