# Mendix vs my Randstad

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Mendix at 71% against my Randstad's 13%. Mendix also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and device support (3 vs 1). my Randstad's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 5) and rating (3.7 vs 3.4). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

my Randstad holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: my Randstad has 1.4K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 71% of Mendix's written reviews are positive against 13% of my Randstad's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Mendix ships an update every 2 months, my Randstad every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on June 1, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
