# HORIZONT ePaper vs connect

The clearest difference is rating: connect at 3.0 against HORIZONT ePaper's 1.0. connect also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). HORIZONT ePaper's advantage is review sentiment (22% vs 0%). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HORIZONT ePaper sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. connect asks for nothing beyond the download.

connect holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of HORIZONT ePaper's written reviews are positive against 0% of connect's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HORIZONT ePaper ships an update every 4 months, connect every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
