# 腾讯视频 vs 红火短剧

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 红火短剧 at 71% against 腾讯视频's 32%. 红火短剧 also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 22). 腾讯视频's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 腾讯视频 sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. 红火短剧 asks for nothing beyond the download.

腾讯视频 holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 腾讯视频 has 26K ratings behind it against 136, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of 腾讯视频's written reviews are positive against 71% of 红火短剧's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

腾讯视频 ships an update every 6 days, 红火短剧 every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
