# Scratchie vs Lottery

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Lottery at 100% against Scratchie's 22%. Lottery also leads on ratings volume (203 vs 1). Scratchie's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.4) and in-app purchases (none vs 6). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lottery sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Scratchie asks for nothing beyond the download.

Scratchie holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lottery has 203 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Scratchie's written reviews are positive against 100% of Lottery's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Scratchie ships an update every 3 months, Lottery every 9 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
