# Ghost Detector vs Wraith Chasers

The clearest difference is rating: Wraith Chasers at 5.0 against Ghost Detector's 4.3. Wraith Chasers also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). Ghost Detector's advantage is review sentiment (61% vs 33%) and ratings volume (161 vs 3). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Ghost Detector sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Wraith Chasers asks for nothing beyond the download.

Wraith Chasers holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ghost Detector has 161 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 61% of Ghost Detector's written reviews are positive against 33% of Wraith Chasers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Ghost Detector ships an update every 3 months, Wraith Chasers every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
