# Fortune vs Psychic 4U

The clearest difference is update cadence: Psychic 4U at every 5 weeks against Fortune's every 10 months. Psychic 4U also leads on ratings volume (964 vs 4) and review sentiment (79% vs 63%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fortune sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Psychic 4U sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.3 for Fortune against 4.2 for Psychic 4U. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Psychic 4U has 964 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 63% of Fortune's written reviews are positive against 79% of Psychic 4U's.

Fortune ships an update every 10 months, Psychic 4U every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and November 6, 2026 respectively.
