# Dry Erase Board vs Rings Linking

The clearest difference is price: Dry Erase Board at Free against Rings Linking's $4.00. Dry Erase Board also leads on rating (3.0 vs 2.3) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). Rings Linking's advantage is update cadence (every 10 months vs every 91 months) and review sentiment (53% vs 38%). On ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Dry Erase Board is free to download; Rings Linking costs $4.00 up front. Rings Linking sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Dry Erase Board asks for nothing beyond the download.

Dry Erase Board holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dry Erase Board has 55 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of Dry Erase Board's written reviews are positive against 53% of Rings Linking's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dry Erase Board ships an update every 91 months, Rings Linking every 10 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and November 1, 2026 respectively.
