# TypoDesignClock vs Premium Clock Collection

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: TypoDesignClock at none against Premium Clock Collection's 8. TypoDesignClock also leads on review sentiment (69% vs 38%) and update cadence (every 3 months vs every 23 months). Premium Clock Collection's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (56 vs 6). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Premium Clock Collection sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. TypoDesignClock asks for nothing beyond the download.

Premium Clock Collection holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Premium Clock Collection has 56 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of TypoDesignClock's written reviews are positive against 38% of Premium Clock Collection's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

TypoDesignClock ships an update every 3 months, Premium Clock Collection every 23 months. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
