# Real Sudoku™ vs RecordPlus

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Real Sudoku™ at 85% against RecordPlus's 5%. Real Sudoku™ also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). RecordPlus's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Real Sudoku™ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and RecordPlus sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Real Sudoku™ ships an update every 4 months, RecordPlus every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
