# Real Sudoku™ vs CN Plus

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CN Plus at none against Real Sudoku™'s 1. CN Plus also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 4 months). Real Sudoku™'s advantage is ratings volume (46 vs 2) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Real Sudoku™ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. CN Plus asks for nothing beyond the download.

CN Plus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Real Sudoku™ has 46 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Real Sudoku™'s written reviews are positive against 81% of CN Plus's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Real Sudoku™ ships an update every 4 months, CN Plus every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
