# The Ultimate Buzzer vs INTIX

The clearest difference is rating: INTIX at 5.0 against The Ultimate Buzzer's 4.4. INTIX also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ads (none vs shown). The Ultimate Buzzer's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (15K vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. The Ultimate Buzzer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. INTIX asks for nothing beyond the download.

INTIX holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: The Ultimate Buzzer has 15K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 32% of The Ultimate Buzzer's written reviews are positive against 15% of INTIX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

The Ultimate Buzzer ships an update every 2 weeks, INTIX every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
