# Pre vs Prealgebra

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Prealgebra at 100% against Pre's 67%. Prealgebra also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Pre's advantage is ratings volume (357 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pre sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Prealgebra sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Prealgebra holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pre has 357 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Pre's written reviews are positive against 100% of Prealgebra's.
