# Pre vs PhotoMath Solver AI

The clearest difference is ratings volume: PhotoMath Solver AI at 13K against Pre's 360. PhotoMath Solver AI also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 6 months). Pre's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.4) and review sentiment (67% vs 55%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pre sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and PhotoMath Solver AI sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pre holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PhotoMath Solver AI has 13K ratings behind it against 360, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Pre's written reviews are positive against 55% of PhotoMath Solver AI's.

Pre ships an update every 6 months, PhotoMath Solver AI every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
