# Pre vs Algebra Math Solver

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pre at 67% against Algebra Math Solver's 6%. Pre also leads on rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Algebra Math Solver's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (7K vs 357). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pre sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Algebra Math Solver sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Pre holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Algebra Math Solver has 7K ratings behind it against 357, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 67% of Pre's written reviews are positive against 6% of Algebra Math Solver's.

Pre ships an update every 6 months, Algebra Math Solver monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
