# Pre vs Polyngo Translate

The clearest difference is ads: Pre at none against Polyngo Translate's shown. Pre also leads on ratings volume (360 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.0). Polyngo Translate's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pre sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $9.99 per month and Polyngo Translate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Polyngo Translate holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pre has 360 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
