# BehaviorSnap vs Behavior Observer

The clearest difference is price: Behavior Observer at Free against BehaviorSnap's $9.99. Behavior Observer also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5). BehaviorSnap's advantage is ratings volume (419 vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Behavior Observer is free to download; BehaviorSnap costs $9.99 up front. BehaviorSnap sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Behavior Observer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $49.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Behavior Observer holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BehaviorSnap has 419 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BehaviorSnap ships an update every 3 weeks, Behavior Observer every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
