# BehaviorSnap vs Countee

The clearest difference is price: Countee at Free against BehaviorSnap's $9.99. Countee also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and review sentiment (67% vs 47%). BehaviorSnap's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (415 vs 12). On rating, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Countee is free to download; BehaviorSnap costs $9.99 up front. BehaviorSnap sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Countee asks for nothing beyond the download.

BehaviorSnap holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BehaviorSnap has 415 ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 47% of BehaviorSnap's written reviews are positive against 67% of Countee's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BehaviorSnap ships an update every 3 weeks, Countee every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
