# Twitch vs CameraFi Live

The clearest difference is ads: CameraFi Live at none against Twitch's shown. CameraFi Live also leads on review sentiment (43% vs 34%). Twitch's advantage is ratings volume (2.8M vs 320) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Twitch sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and CameraFi Live sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Twitch holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Twitch has 2.8M ratings behind it against 320, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Twitch's written reviews are positive against 43% of CameraFi Live's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Twitch ships an update every 4 days, CameraFi Live every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
