# First Phrases Lite vs Feed Maxi Pro

The clearest difference is price: First Phrases Lite at Free against Feed Maxi Pro's $3.99. First Phrases Lite also leads on update cadence (every 4 months vs every 25 months) and review sentiment (86% vs 77%). Feed Maxi Pro's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 3.7) and ratings volume (446 vs 3). On ads, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

First Phrases Lite is free to download; Feed Maxi Pro costs $3.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Feed Maxi Pro holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Feed Maxi Pro has 446 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of First Phrases Lite's written reviews are positive against 77% of Feed Maxi Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

First Phrases Lite ships an update every 4 months, Feed Maxi Pro every 25 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
