# Watch TNT vs The CW

The clearest difference is update cadence: The CW at monthly against Watch TNT's every 3 months. The CW also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases) and chart position (#178 vs unranked). Watch TNT's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ratings volume there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Watch TNT holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 3.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 30K and 22K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 3% of Watch TNT's written reviews are positive against 11% of The CW's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Watch TNT ships an update every 3 months, The CW monthly. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
