# BatteryNow vs Timers!

The clearest difference is rating: BatteryNow at 4.0 against Timers!'s 1.0. Timers!'s advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 67%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

BatteryNow costs $0.99 and Timers! $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BatteryNow holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of BatteryNow's written reviews are positive against 100% of Timers!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BatteryNow ships an update every 4 months, Timers! every 6 months. Both last shipped on October 23, 2026.
