# Spelling Notebook vs EasyPeasy

The clearest difference is rating: Spelling Notebook at 4.6 against EasyPeasy's 3.0. Spelling Notebook also leads on ratings volume (2.7K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). EasyPeasy's advantage is update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and review sentiment (97% vs 86%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Spelling Notebook sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and EasyPeasy sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Spelling Notebook holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spelling Notebook has 2.7K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of Spelling Notebook's written reviews are positive against 97% of EasyPeasy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Spelling Notebook ships an update every 3 months, EasyPeasy every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
