# mail.com vs Cloud Storage

The clearest difference is ads: Cloud Storage at none against mail.com's shown. Cloud Storage also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). mail.com's advantage is ratings volume (105K vs 1.7K) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. mail.com sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Cloud Storage sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

mail.com holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mail.com has 105K ratings behind it against 1.7K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 76% and 75% positive.

mail.com ships an update fortnightly, Cloud Storage every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 15, 2026.
