# mail.com vs EE Cyber Security

The clearest difference is review sentiment: mail.com at 76% against EE Cyber Security's 21%. mail.com also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (105K vs 1). EE Cyber Security's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 11) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. mail.com sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. EE Cyber Security asks for nothing beyond the download.

EE Cyber Security holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: mail.com has 105K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 76% of mail.com's written reviews are positive against 21% of EE Cyber Security's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

mail.com ships an update fortnightly, EE Cyber Security every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
